Tiptronic transmission issues
 

Driving down the interstate and the dash indicator started flash the 4 for gear, d for drive and would not shift automatically. pulled over and it was dumping fluid. Has anyone else seen this, and if so what was the issue? Had to leave it in a shop 250 miles from home in Charleston WV.

I did have two codes on the tiptronic (14 years old at the time) and did a filter/fluid change and have had no recurring problems - Good luck.
