Plastic oil canister on 2.7 on way tight ??

Iam not that weak...but damn that canister is on hard...should I warm up the engine first,.. I just tried to get a cold oil sample and could not remove that canister,.!

A little heat can't hurt. But I'd use the big socket that fits on the botton of the oil canister with a LONG breaker bar. That should give you more than enough leverage.

Ok,..I was using the adjustable type oil wrench for various size oil filters and yes I was surprised,.!! Thanks Frank
