Wheel Fitment

This topic seems to come up a lot, and despite a search, there are not many consolidated threads that I could find that clearly explain what fits what (if there is one, please post a link and disregard). There are lots of threads about widths, spacers and offset, so I wonder if a sticky might be in order with the following consolidated information so we're all not researching specific wheels sizes and consulting online offset calculators:

Year of 986
Year/Model of car the new wheels came from
Spacer size used F/R (if applicable)
Tire size used F/R
Modifications (if applicable)
Picture of set-up

As an bad example (not a real case ):

1998 Boxster
2012 Carrera S
5MM front 10MM rear
215/55/18 front 205/50/18 rear
Rolled fender lips and longer studs in rear

Just a thought!

Garage
I'll throw mine out there:

2001 Base
Wheels: O.Z. Alleggerita HLT 8x18 ET 50 front; 9x18 ET 43 rear
Spacers: 5mm front & rear
Tires: Potenza RE-71R 225/40/18 front, 265/35/18 rear
Mods: GT3 front control arms, 60mm wheel studs. Otherwise stock

Everything done to maximize performance while minimizing autocross classification modification points

Maybe the Forum Administrators might consider having a Sub-Forum called "Wheels/Tires" for all issues related to that, rather than have it all buried in the "General Discussions" sub-forum.
