I'd love to, but I'm getting a little too old for that. I'm not one of you Gen X or Gen Y guys!! When I was younger, I worked on my own car all the time: springs, shocks, brakes, ball joints, carbs, tune-ups, water pumps, pulled heads, etc, etc ,etc. Now, it's only the simplest things I would do myself, like changing a headlight, or cabin filter and maybe one or two other things. Nothing that I have to get under the car for. The body doesn't want to do at 60 what it could do at 30.

New Clutch
342 Heated Seats
454 Cruise Control
476 PSM
659 On Board Computer
P73 Bose Sound Pkg
P74 Xenon Headlamps
P80 Convenience Plus Pkg

The car needs a few odds and ends but nothing major:

Needs tires. Tread is excellent, but they're 8 years old.
Needs alignment and balancing.
HVAC control display needs new LCD screen. I think there's a kit for that. The entire control display is an expensive part. I'll be posting about that.
One horn is inop.
Cup holder trim piece broke off, but cup holder works.
Driver side window regulator could use replacement.
And a few other minor items

But this was all negotiated into the price, and the price was very fair.

I think I saw your car in PCA classifieds and just missed out - was it in Ballston Lake?

I found one closer and just bought it - 2002 Boxster S - will post more when I have it in my hands!

Congrats and enjoy your new toy !

When you replace that horn also have your radiators and ductwork cleaned out. Be sure to gently separate the side radiators and the a/c condensors that sit on top of them. A lot of leaves and crap get sandwiched in between

Also, how likely is it that the inop horn is just a wire or something else rather than the horn itself? Is there just one relay for both horns? Because if there is, it's not the relay because the other horn works.
