Side light not working

Hi Chaps
Wifey spotted there side lights were not working on the boxster so I removed both the headlights and changed the sidelight build for new ones.

The passenger side works but the driver side doesn't. I then swapped the bulbs over incase one of the new ones were dud but drriver side still not working.

I removed the headlight and sprayed where they connect with WD40 but still no joy

has anyone overhead this problem

MOT due so so must be fixed

Your post is confusing. Is it the side marker bulb, or a bulb in the headlight?
No matter...

Fuse A3 = right side markers.
Fuse A4 = left side markers.

Swap fuses. If no change, also check headlight connector pins.

Sorry yes its the buld in the headlight. In the UK we do not have side markers only the side indicator.

Its the small bulb in the headlight unit that is activated by the first turn on the headlight knob. In the UK we call that the side lights

I have sprayed WD40 on the connector pins

Swap fuses. If no change, also check headlight connector pins (make sure none are bent, broken, corroded, etc).

...and don't spray wd-40 on electrical connections.
