Detailing Advise please

So I purchased a Speed Yellow 987 in fall, just in time to put it up for winter.... Anyway the car is pristine, except for the Yellow seat belts. They are pretty dirty from years of sliding through the guides. Has anyone had any luck cleaning theirs? Looking for tips or tricks!

Congrats on your purchase. If you are patient, I would start with something mild, yet very effective...dawn dish soap and water. Get the belts wet and use a brush to agitate the soap into the belt. Use a separate clean rag to 'rinse' the belts and let them dry. Dawn works great but if you're not satisfied, you might have to use something stronger and do again.

The thing with Dawn is that it's not going to mess up your belts. It'll either work great for you or you can move on to plan B.
