USB audio adapter

Does any one know who makes this USB Audio adapter ? It's in the 2003 Boxster I just bought. The switch changes from radio to the input when it's powered up but my Iphone won't connect thru the USB, no power to the phone and no audio to the radio. I found a receipt in the glove box but it doesn't have a manufacture on it just the station to set it to.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1545701164.jpg

Never seen that before...sorry. What radio is in the car? Does the audio work through the jack?

If it cuts off the radio is likely just a universal adapter that is plugged in between the antenna and the HU. It would be easy to remove, and the USB is probably just there for power while using the 3.5mm audio jack (likely wired to the phone connector under the center console).

If you have a Becker HU, you may be able to install an AUX jack that does not interfere with the radio.

Brand is tough, this type of setup is a dime a dozen from China.

I'll plug in to the Aux jack after company leaves. The USB won't power the phone and with it being an Iphone 7 it's a PITA if the lighting cord won't work on the USB. It's kind of cobby so I'll probably remove it and go a different way.

It plays thru the Aux port but it's low volume. I'll have to do some research to see what way I want to go.
