Sport seats

Anybody convert their standard seats into sport seats? Looks like all you need is leather covers, foam and the expensive part is outside back (around $450 each)

I've done some pretty extensive work on my Boxster seats, but haven't attempted the project you propose. I put together a document with some information, but it is too big to upload here so I posted it on Rennlist: https://rennlist.com/forums/boxster-and-boxster-s-986-forum/938572-memory-seats-option.html

I expect that what you want to do is possible, but I think I would first determine whether there was a good set of sport seats available. By the time you buy the seat backs, seat covers and foam, you might spend over $1000.

That's still a lot cheaper than what's for sale on eBay now and leather would be new.

I’d be interested in seeing the results of your project if you decide to proceed.
