I need recommendations for a Boxster PPI in the Atlanta and shipping to FL

I'm possibly buying a Boxster in the Atlanta area. I could use some recommendations for a PPI agent or shop to check it out. I also may need to ship this Boxster back to the Tampa -St. Pete area. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is this the one you're looking at?

When I lived in Marrieta which is just North of Atlanta these were some of the go to shops for Porsche's .They are not in any specific order .

1.Franz Blam Racing , Tucker GA. 770-939-6100
2.Jack Lewis Enterprises , Norcross GA. 770-849-0302
3.Goldcrest Motorsports , Kennesaw GA. 770-693-9601

There are also two Porsche dealerships in Atlanta but not sure if they do PPI's . Hope this helps you out and good luck .

Shipped? Why not just take a road trip and drive it home.

Agreed. Bee line it along Interstate 10 and see a bunch of the US South.

I can tell you’re not familiar with the area!

Yes, you are right, I confused this with an L.A. to Florida thread I read.

Even better, take 75 South. Really just a short hop.

I'm probably going to need a PPI done in the Duluth area this week. Looks like all three of those are pretty close. How recently did you live in Marrieta, in other words, how current is that info about those being the "go to" shops?

Out of the three, could you possibly list them in order of preference?

How about Atlanta Speedworks, Todd Lamb's shop? If they are close, and if they do PPI's, i would try them. They certainly know the boxster inside out.

Ok don't see PPI on there:

Atlanta Speedwerks » Cars/Services

But i would still call, they might be able to give a recommendation.

I moved from Marietta about 2 years ago so not that long ago . I do know that Franz from Franz Blam has retired , not sure who is running that facility now . I was recently ( last 2 weeks ) at Goldcrest so I know they are open and still doing Porsche work . I never personally interfaced with the other so have no real world experience with them .
