What about a Car capsule? It’s reusable but not sure if it works outside.

There is an outdoor carcapsule......both need power

Go for it. Easy DIY project.

I have decided against the shrink wrap. The car capsule is great, but a little to obtrusive for my driveway. I had a long discussion yesterday with a Jaguar club friend. He loves the capsule. I think I will upgrade the California Car cover to the top of the line weatherproof model. I still drive it in the winter anyway, as long as no snow or salt on the road. Thanks to all for the comments!

I decided to go with a California Car cover, a Superweave which is supposed to be pretty rain resistant. I will report back when I see the results. Ordered on Monday, received on Friday despite a custom order. California to New York. Good on them.

I lived there for 14 years and moved back to NY.

Couldn't take the f'n heat, the b.s., the lousy schools, the crappy medical care, etc, etc, etc

Lets remember, this is New York, garage and parking is already at a premium. Not sure he would find $150 month space in Long Island.

You could probably find a shed to store a bicycle for $150/month on Long Island.

Guys, I'm a Newbie here and I'm totally new to the concept of winter storage . . .

I always thought car covers were for indoor storage. Is it perfectly ok to use a car cover for outdoor storage in the elements?

What about ordering one of those PODS ?

That idea came to me too. Is that feasible and workable? What about the cost?

I paid $325 for a California Superweave cover. I already have a mostly indoor Cal cover. Ordered and delivered in 5 days. Fits well.
