Anyone aware of direct fit fog/driving lights for the holes in the bumper?
 

Today I was driving back from fishing at the OBX and I saw a 986 turn at a stop light in front of me that appeared to have replacement radiator opening grill pieces with integrated led fog light strips. I suppose it could have been a custom job but it really did look like an aftermarket grill piece that integrated an led strip. I think the person turned into a gas station right there and I'm really kicking myself for not pulling in and asking about them.

Is anyone aware of such a thing or were they most likely custom?

There are aftermarket bumper covers with integrated lighting, but I'm not aware of something that just replaces the grills.

I saw a post over on Rennlist in the 996 section where they had pictures showing lights like these installed on their stock bumpers, but their lights had 5 or 8 bulbs, now they are available for sale with 6 bulbs.

Pedro’s garage, led and kinda expensive or search for drl hack by particlewave. I did this on all my Boxster’s and it works nice. If you have halogens, get yellowish led h7s so they match when your headlights are in. In other words, try to match color of headlights with the h7 led bulbs you use for the DRL hack. Easy and almost free.
