aos and oil fill hoses
hi - looking to replace the plastic accordion aos and oil fill hoses on my engine with something more robust. presume it has to hold vacuum and not collapse, handle engine temps, and be rated for oil and gas. would have to be flexible - probably more flexible than heater hose. anyone have a spec they could recommend? i went to the local parts store and got blank looks.

New OEM parts are pretty robust. The heat cycling is what makes the parts in your car brittle

Radium,
Please note that the accordion hoses have a funky style connectors at the end, perhaps may be better to install a OEM hoses and forget about them for a few years.. |
New oem isn’t expensive. Not a fun job to replace the oil fill tube but not as bad as some make it out to be. Be sure to get the remote tool for the fittings.
