10/10ths "50 Years of 550 Spyder" Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: The Road Posts: 962	Check the.... .....idler pulleys on the serpentine belt. Mine was bad after only 25,000 miles on my 2004 S. I have seen multiple fires caused by a seized idler pulley setting the serpentine belt on fire on these machines. __________________ 550 SE #310---"It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow."
