Thanks

Once again this forum saved my butt. Took my car for a ride last night with the top down. Got home, went to close it up for the night and nothing. Remembering there were a number of "my roof wont close" postings, I did a quick search and checked symptoms; no parking brake light on the dash with the E brake engaged. Pulled out the coin tray, saw the switch was stuck in the down position. Popped it up, put a tiny bit of lube on the plunger, exercised it for a minute and problem solved.

Thanks again for being such a great forum. Now it's time to shift my focus to my 66 912. In the middle of a rebuild on it. Now if only my wife will raise my allowance!

Glad to hear. Sorry I couldn't be any real help with your engine replacement, my free time is sporadic. Would like to check out your 912 at some point though.

NO problem. The engine swap was quite the journey. I'll keep you abreast of the 912 progress. If you ever find yourself in Callahan, let me know.

Going to the cars & coffee meet in Amelia Island on Saturday by any chance?
