1998 Boxster steering wheel play
 

My car’s steering wheel is able to move in and out a sizable distance, so I took apart the steering assembly to find the cause. I got to this point and am wondering what I can do to fix this. This is not an issue with the telescoping function as it’s locked at the moment and I have tested it separately. Not sure what to make of the loose washers and o-ring.
