Boxster convertible top won’t go down

Have a 2001 Boxster. When I ish the button to lower the top nothing happens. Fuse is intact and relay seems ok. Brake is up and to latch disengaged. Any ideas ?

When you release the latch do the windows go down part way? If not the microswitch there is sticking or bad. If the windows go down, it could be the microswitch at the emergency brake. I had that problem and sprayed WD40 on the microswitch and it freed it up.

There is a switch in the console costs $10. It activates when you put your emergency on. They get stuck after a while. I have a 99 US spec car.
