02' Porsche Boxster S (986) TAIL LIGHTS

i have a problem with the tail lights on a 986 and looking for help...
*brake lights work
*turn signals work
*reverse lights work
*low and high beam headlights work
*front fog lights work
*single rear fog light works
*fuses are good and i get power to the fuse at the fuse box.

BUT rear running lights do not work at all (headlight switch on - no rear lights are on)!
I'm getting no power to the tail lights.
i can't seem to find a relay or if their is a relay???
starting to think possibly a bad main light switch?

Try looking at the tail light bulb holder, sometimes the metal that secures the bulbs can pop up and not ground a bulb properly. I had to put some electrical tape on mine to stop my brake light from flickering.

Here's a picture of the metal I am talking about:

as i mentioned before, i was getting no power to the rear tail lights.... no power to the GRY/BLK & GRY/RED wires on the connector for the tail lights
(tail lights and side markers tied in together. both were not working on either side)
***I found the problem!***
fuses were good but no power to the fuses, pulled the main light switch out...
i had power to the switch but no power going to the rear tail light
Left tail light wire (GRY/BLK) and Right tail light wire (GRY/RED) on the backside of the main switch
installed a new light switch and everything is working!
