Which coolant to use in 2004 base?

I would like to top off the coolant and I know about the pink and yellow Porsche variants. However, my coolant is more of a clear oily type. I dont know what it is.
Anyone familiar with this color coolant? The last place to work on it was a local dealership so I am assuming it Porsche coolant. I'd rather not do a flush if it can be avoided.

Thanks for the help!

Use distilled water to top up.

100% compatible with whatever type of coolant is already in there. :)

Clear oily? That’s odd. But, as Stone said, distilled for a top off. Won’t hurt a thing.

Do not assume use Distilled water. It's cheap and compatible
The only way to be sure is to flush and replace with known

You live in California, why do you need antifreeze anyways?
I know there are cold locations

If you do decide to flush. I use Pentosin, it's pink and it's what VW Dealership's use. It's in my VW Jetta and my Porsche. You can buy it at Advanced Auto for much less money. Be sure as other's say top off with Distilled Water. You are looking at 5 gallons I believe of coolant in the Boxster.
