I have the dreaded double beep! Help!

I have the dreaded double beep when I lock the car, and the car immediately unlocks itself. Apparently, this means the alarm box thinks something is wrong. How do I find out what it thinks is wrong???

You start by scanning the car with a Porsche specific scan tool which can see the alarm faults, then you fix the faults indicated.

What JFP said...

(and a reminder... make sure that your center console glove box door is completely closed!)

And the trunk, frunk and doors - maybe even the top latch is completely closed and not just pressed into the latch.

If you have a after market radio make sure the ground wire for the stock radio alarm is disconnected and taped up. Not cause your issue but I read that it can cause some strange issues.
