No cruise control after conversion

My wife's 2003 boxster didn't come with cruise so I added a four stalk switch to her car. I couldn't get it to work so I switched clusters. The cruise worked with the other cluster but now the radio doesn't work with the replacement cluster. On the 03/04 boxsters the radio and cluster have to match for the radio to work. I'm trying to sell the car now so I switched the original cluster back. I've been all over my PST2 trying to activate the cruise to no avail. I go in the "Instrument Custer" section and switch it back and forth from cruise to no cruise. Nothing seems to work. It's definitely the original cluster not letting it activate. My immobilizer and dme are from another car but I don't think that would matter.

Cruise has to be turned on in both the DME and the cluster.

Thanks. I'll look harder but I'm only finding one screen that deals with the cruise
