Modified 996 subwoofer

Here is my solution to add a sub to my boxster. Seamless space where the down firing bose speakers was by using the plug I cut to install the 8” pioneer.

Nice...and nice find on the matching carpet. ;)

I miss the days when I was really into car audio...it was a fun hobby. I'll admit that my proble was always thinking "something could be improved", which lead to a money spiral. There was an old Steve Martin routine that addressed this and was really funny. If your interested, look for "goolgephonics" on YouTube...it's worth a chuckle.

Thanks, sounds really good. I mean its no 10” earth mover but it fills in the bottom end nice.

I still need to do a little work, have a little air leak around edge of woofer to seal up. I had to cut the port tube off but for my hearing didnt effect sound. I lined the inside with dynamat.

Might find a grill for it and paint it to match, overall am pleased. Was lucky to find the matching carpet on ebay.
