So if I read this right, the shorter pivot bolt changes the engagement point to very high in the travel and it sucks.”? Am I correct?

I ordered the pivot bolt, release bearing and pilot separately from Pelican, as I had the Sachs clutch set, not kit already. I guess I have some more investigating to do, would hate to get in there and have two pivot bolts the same length. I'll call Pelican in the morning and let everyone know what I find.

Called Pelican to discuss the clutch ball pin lengths and though there are no dimensions listed it appears the the one for the "S" looks longer than the one their system shows for my 98 base and its also $48 verses $8.50 I also called local dealer and unfortunately the "S" one was not in stock to compare actual length.
Any ideas? Sure want to get it right first time......
