How long for a pro to remove and reinstall a roll bar?
I started the process and realized it was a jungle I didn't want enter. My guess is a lot of stuff would end up ripped or broken. Figured best left to a professional.

Ok, no takers. How about DIY? I figure the best thing to do is remove roof and frame?
Can it be done without destroying all the sound proofing? Is the sound proofing glued or just placed in? I have a new bar, I painted arctic silver and added the center stripe to match hood and trunk. Not sure if best left to professional. Thanks |
Remove the roof and frame. Soundproofing is glued in, so you have to be very careful in working it loose. If I remember correctly, there are some carpet pieces in the way as well.
I believe there are a few threads here somewhere about removing/repainting. |
