Radio Frequency Increments

My 03 Boxster has a CDR 23 unit fitted. The manual says FM frequency steps
are 100 kHz. Trying to set a freq on mine the increment is 200 kHz.
e.g trying to set 107.0 it goes from 106.9 to107.1 and this continues throughout the freq range. I cannot find anywhere I can change this 200 back to 100..
Any help would be appreciated.

I used to have a similar problem using a US spec car in Germany. Try this to change the region setting for the radio:

Pressing and holding the 1 and 0 preset button button for 8 seconds brings up the menu. Selecting and scrolling is done with the Search (RH) control. Regions can be selected. I changed it and radio works fine now.

Problem Solved

Thanks 78F350 your help was much appreciated.
By pressing 0 & 1 for 8 seconds the 'Service' menu came up. I had to choose 'Europe' to get the 100kHz increments.

I fixed another problem, the two knobs volume and tuning were perished from age and sticky to the touch. I got some clear nail polish from my daughter in law and painted it on (after checking on some scrap rubber). FIXED !!

One Happy Chappy !!!
