Disaster for a friend
 

My poor friend. We Both bought our cars at the same time more or less. I tried talking hime into a Boxster but he decided on a new Vette. None the less, he searched the country for a red Z06. found one in Georgia. He was doing anything possible to get his car. Finally made the deal happen. Then he could not find anybody to transport the vehicle for him. The car sat on a dealers lot in Georgia for a month before a company finally picked it up. 2 Days before expecting delivery of the car, he gets a call from Wyoming. And here is what they had to tell hime : Look Below

To make things worse, the insurance company that the trucker was carrying may not cover the entire cost to replace the vehicle. He may be out 10K even though the car is brand new or never been titled. They are claiming that the have limited funds to work with and there were other cars on the rig they need to settle with as well.

One more thing, My friends inurance company may not even cover the car because it was never added to the policy within 30 days of purchase. and the accident happened on day 32.

I feel really sad for my friend. If any of you know anything about insurance claims let us know.

Wouldn't it just be easier to cut and paste the URL to the thread though?
