98 Porsche 911 Wheels

Would wheels from a 98 Porsche 911 fit on a 2000 Boxster S...I do have aftermarket struts so hitting a spring is not a problem .

Wheel size and offset information would likely be very helpful to folks that could help answer this question.

Seller can not provide offset 18 inch wheels from a 89,,, 911.is all the info there is. Guess I will pass thanks.

Search on offset to learn how to answer your original question. You'll be better prepared when the next set of wheels come up for sale.

I can tell you I have a set of Carerra 2 rims and they are 10" rear, 8.5" front, and the rears would not fit without a half inch spacers and longer studs due to the backset being wrong for an early 986 and didn't do that as there are better options out there with correct offset and back spacing, , like early cayman wheels - and I am sad that I cant use them as they are mint and would look great, 18" wheels, but would just stick out too far and I think look too "ricer" IMHO.
and they are $4,500 for a set new today, I have them for sale but anyway I think the widest you can really go is 9" rear with out a spacer or longer studs. Back set spacing is the key.

I had 18" Fikse wheels in the rear at 10" and et57 I needed a 20mm spacer to clear the strut. ...they sat just about flush.

If OEM Porsche wheels the part number and dimensions / offset should be cast into the rear of the wheel on the spoke section.
