How many threads have you started in how many different places on this topic?
This is bananas. You should really consolidate into one thread for future users to reference. :) |
Actually, I only posted it in the discussions sections and updated it in the existing DIY thread. So one new thread and one update.

Thanks for all your hard work!
Maybe a written summary of before and after (hardware and software) would be good....including dyno parameters. I would have anticipated something like a 10hp change....what is your current number max torque and power numbers? I am sure a dyno change could eat a 10 hp change quite easily. |
Dyno change and MAYBE fuel change. In this run I was using Shell v-power 91. I may have been using Petro-Can 94 (up to 10% ethanol) in the previous base runs. So many things to consider!

Nice videos and nice work! I just watched all 4. It was also nice to see the Mt. Tremblant video, I drove there last year in the Northeast Region's HPDE and am going again with them this July.
|
PS, do you have headers or stock exhaust manifolds? I see you switched to cat bypass pipes but didn't get a chance to watch that video yet.
|
Enjoyed video, too bad you couldnt have the second dyno on the same machine. You mentioned petrol type but could the weather have affected the readings as well?
I like you exhaust tone not only butt dyon positive, the exhaust sound beefier to me. |
Paule, just stock exhaust save for the secondary cat deletes.
Cunningr, I don’t think that the weather played a role, cool & dry both days. I feel fairly sure that the fuel and dyno change had a lot to do with it. I may well get a new reading when my first tech gets his machine back up and running. I can be pretty obsessive. |
