Will 18" Carerra wheels fit with out mods?

Has anyone put 8.5 front, 10.5 rear 18" 996 wheels on their 986?

These are mint and were given to me, I think they would look awesome on the boxster, my p.o. ordered my car with 17" rims, 7'fronts and 8.5 rears, fronts I am not worried about, I know that 9" will fit in rear but not 10's,

the numbers on this are 8jx18 ET57 fronts and 10.5jx18 ET60 rears

if you have had these on your car, was there any need for spacers in rear with longer lugs?

I believe that the offsets and width for the 996 wheels are different than those made for the 986, so some "owner fitment" is going to be necessary.

I installed 18" 996 Porsche Twists with 10.5" rears. Its looks great with such a fat rear tire but I had to run a 20mm rear spacers with new lug bolts. I just clear the rear shock. No issues with handling or anything.

Visit the site willtheyfit.com and input the data requested. You should see a visual representation of the fitment of the proposed wheels.

With those ETs you will definitely need spacers.
