986 Power Mirrors and Keyfob Question
 

2002 Boxster

I have already searched and scoured, (and search and scoured) for concise answers, but keep hitting a brick wall.

Any help is appreciated:

Power Mirrors won't work

• Have checked fuse B4 and B5 (can't find clear answer on fuse diagram for 02), info not on panel in case
• Windows work fine
• Fuses appear fine
• Backup lights work (they share same fuse, no?)
• Is there a way to "jumper" the wiring loom or test the switch w/o getting a new switch?

Keyfob question
(Have searched, but the responses end up being a rabbit hole)
I have cut key, immobilizer chip is in key, but fob transmitter (guts) are gone. If I get a used transmitter, can it be setup to my car w/o having to go to dealer? (if so, how?)
