Hello Heiko,
Can you please help me with a radio code?

cdr-220
serial # - Y5036396
model - 4462

Radio currently displays "wait"? Any idea how long it takes to reset itself?

I don't know the code but it resets instantaneously if put in correctly. If I remember correctly, if you put it in wrong too many times, it takes about 24hrs to reset.

It's been a while so hopefully this is right.

Yes you need to leave the radio on continuously to get it to reset... depending how many times
you tried it already with the incorrect code it could take 12hrs
Try 3285 first and if that doesn't work try 3284
