Detailing with clear Bra

New to forum. Thanks in advance for your responses. Have 06 987 with clear 3m nose bra. I guess clay is out of the question in the future. Any recommendations on hand applied polishers/sealers /glazes/waxes? This is a daily driver.

I've got a clear bra on my car, have not had a need to use clay on the plastic, but I don't think it would be an issue if it was required. You can apply anything you would use on paint on the plastic. I've buffed it out using PoorBoy's #1 & 2 with a PC/RO and had super results. I'm a Zaino fan and apply that right over the bra as well. Only issue is getting the various forms of crap that form at the edge of the bra from the polishes, etc off without causing any scratches. Have to be really careful there.

I treat mine just like the paint with the exception of of using anyting abrasive, you can use a plasitic polish like you would use on a plastic reat window.

plexus for frequent cleaning clear bra, headlights all clear plastic.
Try Renovo for polishing.

Just wash the whole car with soap and water, and just use Plexus for the clear-bra section. To avoid the white wax residue around the edges try using a liquid wax (for the paint, not the clear-bra) and a very thin layer of it. My whole front is covered with the clear-bra which minimizes the amount of visible edges. I am only showing two small 3 inch lines on each side at the top of the hood -- barely visible. Whole fenders are covered all the way to the doors, so no lines there either. Makes washing the car very easy since the whole front only needs the Plexus, and that's it. What color is your car?
