Talking New to the Porsche club

Hello all just wanted to say hi. On Sat I bought my first new Porsche.

2006 Boxster S, 6spd
Atlas Grey, Blk int, Blk top
Bi Xenons
Auto Climate
Bose with Windstop
19" Classic wheels

Question is there a non-smokers package to replace the ashtray?

Thanks and love the fourm did a lot of reading here before buying the car.

Wecome. Sounds like a very nice car. Post some pictures when you get an opportunity.

I asked about a non-smoking kit last year...and the answer was no. Maybe we should check-in with Suncoast Porsche or Sunset Porsche in another 6-12 months.

Good luck with your new ride , you will have fun.
I already placed an order with Eric for clear side markers, key hole plug, and the Cayman vents (painted Atlas Grey). Can't wait... no luck on the non-smokers pkg for the 987 only the 986

Yes, Eric has some great stuff and product quality. You'll love the painted side vents. Post some "before" & "after" pictures!

I almost got the key hole plug, but then I learned that the remote lock function becomes inactive after several days (more than 5) of the car sitting without use. When that happens, you need to use your actual key in the lock to open the door.

For me this was a potential issue, since the car may sit for several days. Just an FYI.

I'll see if we can find a non-smoker kit for the 987.
