986 wheels on 987.2

Will the 986 17 & 18" wheels fit on 987.2 base model with no problem? I've only seen 987 wheels on 986... Thanks.

They fit on mine. You do need to maintain the 1" tire diameter stagger so your PSM stays happy.

I saw a guy running 17" Boxster S twists,at the track one time.
