987 Headlight cleaning, Perfectlap?

I would assume that other 987 owners have experienced what could be described as slight hazing/pitting of the headlamp housings, noticeable with both the halogens and xenons.

I'm curious if anyone has experience with removing or keeping this from happening? With the lights off, not noticeable at all and the housing seem of high quality and pit-proof, but under the bright lights...not as much. It's almost as if the inside of the housings is affected rather than the outside. I'd prefer them to be perfectly clear of course.

I have not noticed this. I'll look one night soon, and report back.

Sounds like a warranty issue to me if your are experiencing this. What has the dealership said?

Not sure about the 987 but know the Carrera GT had issues with the headlights and moisture build up that caused permanent fogging of the head lights. This should be a dealer fix on the 987 as well. They have to check the seals of the head lights. Might as well take it is as long its under warranty.

I looked my lights over real well last night. I do not have this issue.

Sorry to bump an old thread but this is exactly what i noticed with my headlights. It seems like it's pitted on the inside...
