Dated a girl from Qingdao... Started as a name on the Chinese motorcycle forum, then snowballed from there. Sure pisses the current wife off (who is not from Qingdao)

Was responsible for all flight operations of the world's largest gathering of hot air balloons for the nine day event. Have since served on the AIBF Board of Directors for the past 30 years. We'll be celebrating the 50th Balloon Fiesta in October 2021.

One of the planes I learned to fly in: Piper Warrior II, Tail number N6909T. Actually, I did mainly instrument training on that plane and took friends/family up for scenic rides. The plane on which I earned my license was a Cessna 152. But of the two I prefer the piper, so I use it for the name.
