Center cap removal tool

If you find yourself in need of a center cap removal tool, have no fear
you can make one yourself at zero cost.

All you need is a simple metal coat hanger, a pair of pliers and a pair of side cutters.
Tools all of us likely have or at the very least should.

Cut a 6" length of coat hanger. Bend it in half, leaving enough room for your finger
to fit. Now, bend the ends, approximately 1/4 " at a 45º angle. Done. Bend it slightly
to match the removal hole spacing and you're all set.

Well done sir. A couple of allen wrenches will do in a pinch also.

I find it's pretty easy to just tap them out from the back side of the wheel. What are the reasons for removing the center cap and not be taking the wheel off at the same time? I suppose you could be swapping out center caps...
