Are these Fabspeed headers worth the trouble?

They look to be an older model. I have no plans to add the rest of the system for now. Is it worth persuing? The seller says make an offer and take them away!

I wouldn't bother.

I'd agree w/ Anker... unless you've already check the header screws on your '04 and know they will remove easily... Plus w/ 200 cel cats you'll need O2 sensor spacers and even then they'll likely pop CEL occasionally. Plus those look like really a hard 20,000km...

What is your ultimate goal: sound, performance, boredom looking for a project, all the above?

Good luck :)

I always wanted set of those :) If you can get them for a good price, after 20,000 KM the Cat material shouldn't be used up. Just make sure they are indeed for the 2000-2004 Boxster and not 97-99 as (at least the outboard end) is smaller than the 2000-2004. Supposedly they flow better, etc. etc.

Looks like it comes with a free seized O2 sensor too :)
