Agreed, thanks for the reminder. The jack is always up under the side I'm working on. Along with the wheels as they fit.

Here are the liftbars in action. IMO they are worth every penny. I have two cars to do 30K services. These are making it some much easier and safer.

Quick Tip
One little liftbars tip. If you intend to remove the rear underside plastic tray then remove the fasteners before lifting the car. The liftbars cover the fasteners on the outside edges and make it more difficult to remove once these are in place.

Thanks for posting the pics of the liftbars. I have a lift but they could still come in handy.
They look like they would be easy to duplicate and I have a couple of ideas that could improve on them. |
The key to his design is in the ends. As simple as the design is, they are very well thought out and plug right into the lift points. Rock solid. I considered making something up also. The potential monetary savings over the time/material/trial and error required wasn't enough for me. Credit card, done.
