1972 VW Karman Ghia, yellow w/ black racing stripe, right off the showroom floor.$3,200.00. Fun car to drive. I used to tease the Porsche dealer when I took it in fro service (VW and Porsche dealers were together) Told them it drove as good as the Porsche. Now I love my 99' 986, takes me back & a much better drive. Lot's More Fun!!

With the rise in prices lots! I passed for good reasons at the time. Here are a few:
|
Two - at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Fresh out of college in 1987 I test drove and passed on a brand new Buick Grand National. It would have ended up trashed with car seats and juice boxes shortly thereafter. The other was an absolute beater of a Ford Bronco II with a manual transmission in about 2008. I was going to cut off the back part of the top and put in a roll cage, but decided $890 was just too much money... |
Early 70's 911 Targa back in the early 90's, could have had it for 15K.
Ford RS200 back in the early 90's, 50K Basket case 64 TR4, 1K It is what it is. Still looking for a Boxster that I can give a forever home too. |

Overall it's a very rare car here in the US. I lived a lot of places in the US and I've never seen one. https://mmgt.forumchitchat.com/post/1973-production-numbers-information-6239621 |
1988 Mazda 323 GT 1.6 turbo. Haunts me everyday. Suspension was horrible when I was younger and didn't known anything about repairs and shocks. Sigh.

Every '94 3.6 Turbo that was put up for sale up until about 6 years ago...:D:D
