New Windshield: w/antenna vs without antenna

I have a 2003 Boxster S, and I need to have the windshield replaced. My understanding with the S model (I've never had anything else so I wouldn't know the difference) has the titanium colored trim, and the top of the window is tinted green.

One question that threw me for a loop is the installer asked if it was a non-antenna or with the antenna version. How would I be able to tell. I thought that all the Boxters came with the antenna in the windshield.

Thanks for your help.

Tony

IIRC, the antenna is in the A pillar not the windshield
I could be wrong YMMV

It would be the antenna version, I would think, if you also have door speakers.

Option code M265 is rain sensor/anti-glare mirrors, M440 for the “manual antenna / four speakers / antenna diversity”. Could check with a dealer using your VIN to see which part would be correct.

If you have the antenna in the windshield, you can see it. Look at the center of the windshield, running from top to bottom is a hairline wire, that is the antenna. I just had my windshield replace last week for a 2004 Boxster S.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks.
