Seat memory

My seat memory, 2003 S quit working. It was working up until just recently. Pulled out the Durametric and found no fault codes. Electric seats work perfectly. Wish I could borrow a control module for a few minutes to see if mine is bad. Could repair or just buy a new trim piece without the memory buttons. Seat memory is just clap trap for me as the only driver. Just have this thing about loose ends. Almost eliminated the headlight washers because new ones are ridiculously expensive. Any ideas are welcome.

The control module had to be coded to the car, which requires a PIWIS unit.

JFP Thanks for the response. I am just going to eliminate the system by changing the sill plate for one without memory buttons. For a little performance car there is just a little too much sophistication anyway. Lately I been having a lot of heartburn over being hostage to a PIWIS tool.:(
