Brake Reservoir Lid Removal

http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1508718402.jpg

I flushed out brake fluid with Power Bleeder, but could not take out the plastic lid from the reservoir. Didn't was to force it; does it come out? Any tips/suggestions for next time?

Mine stays in as well! I just use the motive dry to apply pressure and flush. Just keep an eye on the fluid level....It works well this way.

You can kind of grab the edges with a needle nose and rotate it a little and pop it out. It's fiddly. I only do it when I'm doing a complete flush which is rare since I bleed so much. Last time I did was when I switched from Ate 200 to Motul 600.

That's worth a try and a good option!

I tried that, perhaps I should be more patient

You might need to take a small screw driver to lift the edge, then grab with a needle nose pliers.
