Headlights for idiots

Hi guys
Took ownership of my first porsche this week and had my first night drive only to discover driver side main beam light was gone. (Side and full beam fine)

Ive had a quick brush up on removal and got the bulb out (refreshingly easy) but got a simple question I need an answer to...
Are the bulbs specific to porsche or can they be replaced at any motorshop?

I live in Cyprus so sometimes overcoming language difficulties (I don't speak greek) can be a problem.
There is a porsche dealership out here but a good drive away so i thought I'd ask here first.
Sorry for the simplistic question. As said, first Porsche and first real "my" car as ive always had company vehicles where lazily if somethings broke, the company fix it!

It's just a standard fitment bulb any motor factors will stock.

Yes, standard H7 bulb. When fitting, take care that the bulb is seated correctly and do check the headlights beam pattern on a wall to confirm. It should have an easily discernible cut-off.

Thanks! I’ve amended the original post so there’s no chance of someone being led astray by my brain fade

if you are not up for quartz H7 go online to eBay and get a set of LED H7s......they are terrific and last a long long time

Replaced.
Fun and games now tho.
Without the ignition key turned it won't light up when switched on (other passenger side one comes on)
Lights up fine when ignition on or engine started so not too concerning but a bit weird.
Side light doesn't come on now at all either so not sure if that has failed after taking out the unit. Will play more today!
