Maybe last Porsche photos - of my two 986 Boxsters. (Other Porsches would be the white 356A Speedster, a red 1967 912 autocross car, a silver 1995 993, the 1987 Martini replica rally car, and a 2012 Cayman S Black Edition, seven Porsches over a period of 60 years.)
Top photo is my black 1999 986 with wife you saw in 1957 in Holland. Now you see her 49 years later in 2006 in Coronado. If I'd kept the 1999 Boxster, I wouldn't have had to buy the 2000. I kept the same wife throughout these buyings and sellings. I thought I was finished with Porsches, but the silver 2000 Boxster was such a good buy at $6,900, a trade-in at a Honda dealer, that I couldn't resist. Inspection has borne out it is in excellent shape, including the top and the leather. Photo was taken Sept 2, 2017, on top of Mt Palomar with bearded friend Pablo. He and I have been riding motorcycles and cars every Saturday for 25 years on our nearby twisty mountain roads. Ross, Cdr, USN, helo pilot, took photo, drives the blue Camaro ZL1. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1504557651.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1504558388.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1504559025.jpg |
You've done very well in both the wife and the Porsche departments! Congrats!

Thanks for posting. It's fantastic to see such length of Porsche-owning enjoyment. :)

That's a good-lookin' couple if ever I saw one!
You've got the right idea---don't slow down. Your choice of rides has surely contributed nicely to that end. Welcome to the forum, and continued good luck to you sir. |
