What will an electric Boxster sound like?
|
A Tesla? Just wind and tire noise? Sounds like a great example of "Racing improves the Breed." Hopefully this leads to better batteries, faster recharging and batteries/motors/circuits that don't overheat from high speed, rapid acceleration and deceleration. A Tesla only lasted 3 laps at a Watkins Glen HPDE last year before going into limp home mode.

Almost as crappy as the 718.

Like a blender.

My electric razor....or maybe the starter motor on a Yugo.

South Park did an episode about people that think they need to be loud and obnoxious in order to be "cool". What did they call those types?
... :D |
Walking texters are going to get run over in droves when (or if) electric cars become the norm

For all our high hopes about electric cars, the current battery technology won't support it. There isn't enough Cobalt on the planet for what is needed. Rather than battery power, hydrogen is more promising. Hell those grids of overhead wires in big cities are more promising.
Sorry, I'm just a :troll: today! |

The Fisker engineering team had to add sound to their electric car, primarily to protect pedestrians, especially vision impaired pedestrians because they couldn't hear the car coming or passing them by. They added a small speaker to the rear end of the car and held a contest to pick the best sound. The winner was the Jetson's flying car sound.
