I use my Box as a RV.
Well sort of.
I just got back from a 6 day road trip, Skyline drive, Blue Ridge Pwy, Cherohala Skyway. Camped 5 nights.
So tarps, poles, ropes, tent, folding chair, air mattress, clothes, saw, camp/cooking supplies, food, tools, spare parts, car fluids, human fluids.
That's both trunks and the passenger seat.
Full tank of gas and that is one way to lower the car.
Did the Tail of the Dragon 3 times with all this weight.
One leg of the trip I had 2 bundles of firewood as well - Gotta have a fire and a cigar at night
Unfortunately there isn't enough room for another person, so went solo

Full shopping is never a problem except don't put the ice cream in the rear trunk

This is one slick camper

When I go get the groceries I open the front and the back at the same time just to see what comments I get when people walk by. lol

This approach is much cheaper than aftermarket suspension....

Yeah, this is a theme that comes up from time to time. First one I remember was http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/16448-groceries-your-trunk-thread.html?highlight=groceries, featuring a forum member named LoveBunny that was, it would seem, kind of a favorite with the guys here at the time. (How could she NOT be with a handle like that??) She stuck around for a year or two, then disappeared…

Beer in Kenora, just across the border in Ontario, can be substantially cheaper than in my home in Manitoba. Therefore whenever I take a scenic drive over there I stock up,.

As I've documented before I can fit six 24 bottle cases in the Boxster, 3 in the front and 3 in the back. There is no room for luggage of course but I wasn't planning on staying over night anyway.

Hey, I was just there last weekend. Ever go to The Pier for breakfast?

Hey Mark. No, haven't been to The Pier. We are planning a run to Kenora in early Aug so I'll get a chance to check it out. We usually have lunch at the brew pub that used to be a firehall but I'm open to try anything new.
