Squeaking noise at upper back corner of a driver door

I have a constant high pitch squeaking noise coming to my ear from upper back corner of a driver door. If I open a door the sound goes away. I think it can be a door rubber seal over body's metal. I tried Teflon paste once but it was not 100% helpful and just for a brief time. I tried to move a striker plate to inside position as much as possible and it did not help. It looks like the only option is to replace the seal. Is this a common problem?

I had this issue many years ago. It was not the seal on the door, it was the seal on the door jamb. Get some silicone lubricant and go after the rubber seal on the door jamb. If I recall correctly I put the top down and sprayed silicone down each side of the rubber seal. It seemed like I was spraying the silicone everywhere until I got it.

For rubber seals try gummi pflege.
