Well, as far as price goes, you usually get what you pay for.
Zimmerman or Meyele are good quality aftermarket products.
If you have a base, use the same stuff the factory did.
The way spec Boxster race drivers punish their brakes, you don't need more for the street...

I typically like to stick with good name brands for specific parts. For brake pads - Akebono and Textar are good brands to go with if you don't want to go with Genuine: Porsche Boxster (1997-2004) - Brake Pads & Rotors - Page 1. For rotors - Zimmerman and Sebro have a great reputation and are a great alternative to Genuine: Porsche Boxster (1997-2004) - Brake Pads & Rotors - Page 5. Normal ones are fine to go with (non-slotted or drilled) if you're just doing street driving. If you plan to do track stuff I run slotted vs. drilled as a personal preference.

We also do have brake kits that include just about everything you'll need/want for a full brake overhaul. Can check them out here: Porsche Boxster (1997-2004) - Brake Pads & Rotors - Page 1. Great thing about these kits is after you add them to your cart you can delete parts out and add parts in that you want.

Let me know if you have any questions. :)

I bought some rotors from cquence.net for the spec boxster. Price was right and they are working well.

Save your money and get no reduction is quality or safety

On eBay
Meyle rotors Approx $75-$80 per pair , not each

PowerStop ceramic pads, approx $50 per axle

I run Meyle rotors for both street and track and PowerStop pads for street and autocross
