ECS Coil overs

Hi All. I purchased and had installed the ECS Coil overs. They dropped the car quite a bit , so not to bottom out, the installer set the softness to max and spring pre-load to the tightest available (all the way to the top). As a result, the car now bounces over smallest of bumps. Has anyone installed the same coil overs and if so, what settings did you use? Please help.

Sounds like you need to increase the rebound and compression settings if the coil overs have both capabilities

NJBoxter, usually the coilovers come with the installation instructions and there you will find the 'MFR suggested starting point', from there is trial and error to get them to your like.

Keeping in mind that you should do a single 'small' adjustment at the time and document in writing your observations, then if you have to remove them to make a repair on your suspension, you will not have to start from scratch again.

Share pics please. I want to see what "spring pre-load to the tightest available (all the way" looks like. That sounds like a terrible idea, unless you like coil bind.
