I saw one of there at a gas station when I was going to the beach in Jacksonville FL, I did a double take as I drove by, thought it could be a real one, but then it popped up on craigslist a little while later.

Maybe it would be cool car if he got rid of those fugly wheels, wing and rear bumper?

I think the 986/987 boxster might become a classic not so much because of the looks but because of it's simplicity and rawness. It really is an easy car to work on and one of the last Porsche's to be largely controlled by the driver. Sure some came with PSM or worthless Traction Control but the car mostly relied on what imputes you gave it.
